Bill #1 - Bill Dated 2/27/2019
See the 2/14/2019 Patient Payment for $60? That stood out to me, because I knew I had never made a $60 payment. So out of the gate, if I wanted to be sure I was paying a proper amount, I'd need to dig, but there is going to be nothing in this statement or the EOB to dig with...
My insurance card says I have a $25 specialist visit copay. How does that end up being a $30 amount on the 1/9 and 1/29 visits. AND... I could have sworn I paid that at the time of the visit..
Closing out the 2/11 visit with a $25 amount seems logical for a copay, if it wasn't paid, which I though it was....
How many of you have already glazed over just due to all the math and related text?

This billing and adjusting looks fine. I owe 148.72... and that's what SVMC says,
but then they say I made a $60 payment or credit?! Where from??
We'll figure it out later... its extremely complicated... let's work through the rest of the billed items and eobs first...
DOS -- 1/9/2019
Although in different order, the billed items are same as EOB items, so that's good.
I do not like fact they do an aggregated insurance adjustment. It makes me have to do math in my head.
The reimbursement rate for X-Rays seems quite high. Looks like I have a $5 copay for xrays and that's how I got to $30 owed. This all looks good otherwise......

99214 is for a very long appt, but in fact these were very long. A lot of issues..
The EOB aligns with the bill.
I owe $30...

Another long appointment.
This all looks good.
Summary...
In general, the billing has proper items and it aligns with EOBs. The only vendor so far to do that.
There is a $60 payment allocated that I did not make, and there are no copays registering that I thought I made, so now I have to do some work to figure that part out...
